Weston, Connecticut. Completed in 2016.

P H Architects was selected to design a new construction, traditional style home within an upscale, secluded neighborhood located in Weston, CT. The fun part of the design process was to incorporate a unique structure that would work best with the existing topography.

The approved design concept linked the main house structure with a detached two-car garage via a covered breezeway with columns. The walking path comprised of bluestone to coincide with stone used within the rest of the design. A cupola was added to the garage to give it a distinct New England look.

This cedar shingle home contains a fieldstone entryway in the front of the home, which leads into a spacious great room. The vaulted ceiling with wood beam structure gives the room depth and a sense of openness. The dual fireplace affords the ability to entertain indoor and outdoor with the changing of the seasons.

Marvin French doors lead out to covered steps into a beautifully carved out property in a naturally wooded picture, perfect setting. The home was carefully designed to maximize yard space and create privacy while entertaining in the back yard.

The spacious kitchen with custom island leads to a breakfast nook, overlooking the yard that is crafted with an amphitheater style landscape. The custom millwork in the kitchen conveys charm and space for family gatherings.
