Red Barn Renovation, Ridgefield, CT

Design alterations to an existing 2,500 square foot, 1980’s studio barn allowed the Owners to update this structure, while keeping the local presence that it has maintained for years. We fully renovated all the interior of the lower level, portions of the upper level, gave the structure a face lift by adding new exterior cedar channel siding, insulated and waterproofed the building and added new windows & doors. A large portion of this project included dredging the adjacent pond and establishing native wetland plantings at the pond’s edge.
