Recreation Area, Newtown, CT

Previous clients wanted to provide a private family recreation area on their property. The site selected was surrounded by wetland soils. This necessitated that we develop an environmentally responsible plan to protect the wetlands and manage storm drainage to secure Town agency approvals. The completed recreation area includes a basketball court, tennis court, putting green, amphitheater, swimming pool, playground area, pool house with his/her bathrooms and changing areas, laundry room, gazebo with dining, barbeque and cooking equipment and a fire pit.
