Ocean Front Residence

This waterfront property in Darien, Connecticut had a 50-year old house and man-made pond on the property. The owners decided to remove the house and pond in order to eradicate the zoning violations and build a new residence. The property is within a flood zone, therefore meeting the building height and maintaining the minimum floor elevations were challenging. In addition, the regulatory approvals to remove the pond were almost impossible. We successfully obtained the regulatory approvals and are developing the design for a shingle-style coastal home that befits this beautiful waterfront property.
