San Francisco Residence

Extensive renovations were done to a row house within a historic community in San Francisco. The clients wanted to preserve the integrity of the neighborhood by not altering the front façade. Through this contemporary themed design, we incorporated 5 bedrooms and an open floor plan. Two light wells with living walls were devised to provide even more natural light and a stairwell that connects the three floors has a unique frameless glass railing. A challenge we faced for this renovation was to make it earthquake compliant.
