New England Residence

We infused shingle-style details into every aspect of this new construction home in Newtown, CT. These New England style elements are portrayed through cedar shakes and cedar shingles. The charming bluestone entrance and large rear colonnade invite the natural surrounding topography inside. We incorporated fieldstone found on the property into the chimney and designed copper roof accents to continue with the natural color. The interiors were sketched to provide an open floor concept with natural light throughout.
